As part of my Childcare course, I've been doing work experience in a playschool for the past two weeks with one of my good friends from school. We absolutely loved every minute of it, and we're so not ready to go back to college on Monday! All of the children were a joy to work with, and I'm really sad to have left them now. If you're my friend on Facebook, you'll have already seen this, haha! I didn't want today to end, but obviously it had to. As it was our last day, we bought some presents. We bought chocolates for each of the three teachers, and also flowers for the main teacher/supervisor. We bought a huge floor puzzle for the children, a book that comes with a CD, and lots of sweeties so they could pick some out before they went home. They were so happy, it was all worth it! They were sad that we wouldn't be working with them again. We were all just getting to know each other really well, but they're children, they'll forget about it in no time, hahaha! I think over the past few weeks, I must have read 25 stories!! The supervisor told us to drop by again, just to see them and see how the children are doing. Anyway, I need to go back anyway to see my favourite little dude, he was out today...
I loved the work experience, i've decided that my career will definitely be in Childcare. It can bee exhausting, but it's so rewarding. I really can't wait to have my own children. If anything, the work experience has made me more broody...maybe soon...
the joy that children give to us is huuuge, I love kids too
