I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Mine was brilliant, and I absolutely loved spending it with all the in-laws. We woke up at around 9.30am, and had a little bit of a fry-up before chilling for a few hours. After our yummy Christmas dinner, we headed next door to my sister-in-law's house to swap our Secret Santa presents with the whole family. We were so thrilled with what we got, it was everything we wanted...a slow cooker, a cute storage tower, king-size bed sheets, hand mixer and a toolkit for the house! We had a lovely day, the drinks were flowing and there was enough food to feed a country!
The cats had their own little white tree with colourful baubles, glitter candy canes, a hot pink reindeer and a CAT decoration on top of the tree. My 'Live The Life You Love' canvas is from Primark a few weeks ago...I love it, and just put some silver tinsel around it. My mother-in-law made us a beautiful wreath..the first one we've had yet! I got Elijah (my fiancé) a little joke present...it's hilarious! My outfit for Christmas day was simple...fitted bootcut jeans, a black top with sequins, black blazer and cute wedge boots. Christmas dinner was amazing...there was so much left over, we were fed for the next few days hahaha!
I love my Christmas dinner swimming in gravy..so so good! Prince and Jess loved their little cat treats...they've been so good! My advent calendar ended on Christmas eve, but I didn't eat it until Christmas day. I'd love one for every day of the year ;) I took a pointless snap of 4pm on Christmas day. Hey, at least we survived Doomsday...hahaha. Have a look at some of the drink and empty bottles...good grief, we drank a lot..
And of course, it rained all of Christmas day. We didn't expect anything else living in Ireland. We had a gorgeous chocolate and cream cake for after dinner, but we were so stuffed, it wasn't opened until Boxing day. I love my tree, and as much as I love Christmas, I'm ready to take the tree and decorations down for another year...some of the fairy lights can stay up, they're too pretty!
As for Boxing day...we had food left over from Christmas day and got ready for our night out. The men took a whole 5 minutes to get ready, but the ladies on the other hand...curling hair, dressing up (I changed at the last minute), applying make-up and lashes. Of course, we took ages! We headed out around 8.30pm, and had a blast! One of the best nights out in a long time! :) Pictures haven't been uploaded yet (eeek!) but I got one on my phone of myself and one of my sister-in-laws...she's on the left, so obviously I'm on the right. ;) Look at my chubby hamster cheeks lol...
The following day, we were dying with hangovers and mine took 36 hours to go away...seriously!! I hope you've all had a really lovely cosy Christmas, and have a very happy new year. Here's to 2013!
